Ripple was a live performance that delved into the shifting interplay of dance, poetry, and generative systems. At its heart pulsed an improvised physical dialogue, conceived and led by Opiyo Okach, whose movements shaped—and were shaped by—responsive, AI-generated visuals. In concert with Maria Keridon, the performance unfolded as a shared choreography: intuitive, layered, and open to transformation. Live poetry by Malgosia Sus echoed through the space, transcribed in real time and interpreted by a AI prompt engineer to conjure prompts that guided the ever-evolving visual terrain. Harris Iveson wove a dynamic soundscape, threading motion, voice, and image into a resonant, living tapestry.
Singular and unrepeatable, Ripple was a fleeting moment of co-creation—where bodies, language, sound, and machine met and moved as one. It invited reflection on connection, presence, and the porous thresholds between human and algorithmic expression.
