Kandinsky melts Kandinsky

In front of our eyes the masterpieces of Vasily Kandinsky morph into new incarnations of themselves. We encourage the AI to express his paintings by drawing one painting with the other. The result invites the observer on a journey through Kandinsky’s magical forms, shapes and colors reinterpreted by AI.

“Clouds are not spheres”, argued Benoit Mandelbrot, the father of fractal geometry. They have an inherently fractal structure. Here, we aim to build on to emphasize the fractal nature of clouds by fractalizing them further.

MPI Bridging Event

September 2019

The Cross-Site Bridging Event in September 2019 brought together AI researchers from the Max-Planck-Institutes for Intelligent Systems of Stuttgart and Tübingen. Besides a scientific program with laboratory visits and demos, there was an evening event in which the foyer of the Max Planck Institute in Tübingen was transformed into an art gallery.

A colorful evening all about art, creativity and science, where we exhibited several works based on our StyleFlow technology.
